A Poll is a good way of collecting responses to a question without having everyone have to reply with their answers. This article will teach you how to add a poll to a thread.
Step 1: Create the Thread
Get to the screen that you normally would to post a thread. At The top right you should see an "add poll" button just below the navigation bar, click on this.
Step 2: Create The Poll
You should then be presented with this screen. On this screen you will see 3 key sections. The poll question, possible answers and how long the poll will run for. The Poll question section should be self-explanatory. In the poll choises section you fill in each box with a choice. You start off with the option for too choices, but if you click on the text saying "Add a choice", you will be able to a add one more choice. With the maximum amount of choices being six. The Final Section is how long the poll runs for until responses are no longer collected. You can select anywhere from a minute to just under 8 days.
Step 3: Look At The Results
Depending on how long you let you poll run for, you should have a few responses after a day. When you do you should have a graph at the top of your thread that looks somewhat like this. This shows you how many votes each option got and what percentage of voters voted for it. If an option does not appear on the graph it is most likely because no one voted for it.
